We’ve just released a major update to Teesom – Here’s what’s new:

Home screen changes

The “Home” screen has seen some improvements, most notably quick access to many helpful tips, tricks and tutorials aimed primarily at users who are still learning how to leverage the full power of Teesom.

Square Payments Integration Upgrade

Our “Square Payments” integration has had a major upgrade.

Teesom now supports the 3rd tier verification process known as “3DS”. For the most part there is nothing you (or your customers) need to do differently when making payment, but now that problem of some payments not getting authorized will be a thing of the past.

However, please note that the change has had some other ramifications, ie:

1.) You may have become disconnected from Square in Teesom. Please go to Company Setup -> Integration -> Payment Gateways to reconnect to Square Payments.

2.) Any saved cards that were held on file at Square will no longer be available for selection when making an online payment. You and/or your customers will have to re-enter the card information (just once) the next time an online payment is made through Square Payments.

User Profile Changes & New Notification Options

The “User Profile” edit screen has had a revamp, and you will find many more new “Notifcations” options

"Reset Password" will now send you a link to where you can immediately set a new password. No more OTP verification complications!

Print Settings

There are some new options under the “Print Settings” tab in Company Setup.

Online Payment options

There have been some changes to options you have available with regards to how and when you will allow (or not allow) your customer to pay you online.

Most notably: when paying an invoice, you can enable the option for your customer to choose a custom amount. This will enable them to partial pay an outstanding invoice.

Method of counting

You now have some more options for how Teesom will “count” the number of goods on an order:

In addition to the count options that were already there, you can now count all the items of the same style code together on the whole order, or just within a specific job:

User Access and permissions

It is now possible for the Company Owner (“main contact” in the company) to edit the user details of all other users, including those in the “Admin” group.

Tax Options

In preparation for some additional upcoming changes in Teesom, we have added new tax related options. You will see them listed under Company Setup

For most of our current users this should not be relevant at all, but for some users in NY State or other parts of the USA, this could be quite a significant change.

New Payment Gateways

We are getting ready to add 2 new payment gateways to Teesom for online payment processing, ie: Stripe and PayPal.

These are not quite ready for release just yet, but it should not be much longer now.

Improved address input system

When entering any shipping or billing address, you will find that the whole process is sleeker and more standardized with a noticeable improvement to the general performance

Backend Improvements

We have also made several significant changes, improvements and bugfixes on the “backend” of Teesom.

For one thing you will probably notice that calculations on an order happen *very quickly*, even on very large orders!
